We strive to bring the finest theater artists and the highest quality of work to our audiences, and to pursue excellence in all our endeavors. programming We believe the transformative power of live theater is contained in theatrical work of all genres, styles, eras and cultures. We aim to challenge our audiences and artists with a breadth of programming. development In addition to exploring established work by recognized theater artists, we commit to supporting emerging artists in the development of new work which will become the theatrical classics of the twenty-second century and beyond. diversity We endeavor to expand the diversity of thought and creativity in our community by uniting audiences and artists of diverse backgrounds and experiences to engage in a lively, inclusive, and respectful exploration of the full range of the human condition. education We believe theater is a powerful tool in education, with the unique ability to illuminate the depths of human experience. Our goal in education is to use our performance and programming to teach audiences about the power of live theater, to support the development of aspiring theater artists, and to enrich the lives of those in our community by instilling a life-long love of theater. engagement We aspire to participate in a healthy and dynamic artistic community, to actively engage with our fellow artists and audiences, to cultivate new audiences, and to make a positive contribution to the quality of life in our community. |
